Wild and windy

 
Today we had gale force winds and rain more like an autumn storm than a spring shower. Some gusts were so powerful that I thought I might get blown over while out walking and at one stage sort shelter beside a wall.
 
As for the garden its littered with leaves and my poor meconopsis got a battering, (todays photo).
 
Tonight we watched more of the Hay Festival only we left it too late to book in for the live streaming. After the way it was over subscribed yesterday the Festival were taking no chances and limited the numbers.
We caught up on YouTube an hour later. These events are free and would highly recommend them. Go to Hay Festival, which is now known as Hay on Wi-Fi.
 
Still a lot of uncertainty over whether we are allowed out of lockdown ton Monday or not in Scotland. Some say if we have not received a letter from the NHS telling us to stay indoors because we fall in the vulnerable category then its safe to do so.
 
But I am taking no chances, though we might sneak off to our local garden centre.
