Rain drops

We had rain today!... oh and sunshine, wind, hail and rain...
 
I got up early to go to the allotment to do some watering and planting out.  Just as I was packing up to leave it started to rain.  By the time I got home it was pouring.  The afternoon turned into sunshine and showers which ended with a big hail storm.  I am wondering how the little plants I put in today would have done. There had been a mention of possible showers but not what we had.  Oh well, hopefully they will be okay and the sunshine which is due over the new days will help them recover.
 
We did some exercise and spoke to Richard's parents on WhatsApp video this evening, it was nice to catch up.
 
Holly kept the elizabethan collar on overnight so her cut has started to heal again.  She does not like it be is doing okay with it.  We have taken it off a few times to let her eat and we have stayed to watch her.  Each time she does start to lick her wound so she will have to keep the collar on for now.  Hopefully it will only be needed for a few days. 
Clause seems to now be in the wars, he has eaten something that does not agree with him and he is having a very poorly tummy.  We went out and got some chicken and gave him a little this evening, we will not give him anything else before bed and hopefully a few small meals will settle him down.  I am sure the mouse he caught and ate this morning will not have helped.  Maybe we will have to keep him in tomorrow as well!
