Saturday: Cushion Key Rings

Wind has dropped a little but it’s still unpleasant, chilly and grey - not a day for outdoors ...
Finally got round to doing some sewing, just 4 mini cushion key rings which will look similar to these https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2677663623056195784 - when I finish them off.
Background fabric is strips of sari silk bonded to a linen backing and added some machine embroidery.
I’ll use the altered fabric for another sewing project https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2675478424474092529 - might even blip something that’s been completed!!
Took my evening walk around the garden, it’s already getting dark at 9pm and worse still my lovely raspberry canes have been blown to shreds, just hope that the flowers have survived for the bees to pollinate, then fruit :-))
I’m sipping a homemade damson gin, MrD prefers sloe gin - purely medicinal :-))
