Quintessential

Paul and Sam decided to cycle down to the Cotswolds; the rest of us drove down after a Zoom meeting, and met up for a picnic and a walk out of Snowshill, one of those looks-too-perfect-to-be-true English villages, all in the local honey-coloured stone, a picturesque church with leaning gravestones, doors framed with climbing roses, and pub - all closed, of course. But the "wolds" (the gentle hills) weren't closed, and were very beautiful.

Ended up in Chipping Campden, where Deb found us all a cup of tea from a place doing takeaways, by the centuries old market place (extra).

Gratefuls:
- our faithful and much loved support group praying for us, for Portugal, and for Brazil - on our first Zoom meeting
- Paul and Sam getting there safely - it was very windy today, and they did have some scary moments
- walking through an ash forest, carpeted in white, wild garlic flowers, and the double rainbow we saw on our way home
