Blue Skies and A Big Old Cloud

Lovely day out today - mostly blue skies apart from this big old cumulus cloud that didn’t want the blue sky to have it all its own way. We ventured out to celebrate the gentle improvement to BG’s sales and the carefully opened restaurant that is one of our customers. We wore masks until we were seated well away from anyone else and all the staff were observing strict guidelines - it’s a one off and as with everything - a calculated risk but it felt safe and well managed. A lot of irresponsible behavior about - but there is going to be a very fine balance to managing the next few months and I hope and pray that it is managed well enough to avoid any serious increase in lives lost and also managing the divisiveness that it seems to be causing over here with people either dismissing anyone trying to be careful as fearful and those who are not, as selfish
