Fading glory

I have enjoyed watching these peonies come out from tight buds into full bloom. Now they are fading fast and will need to go out soon.
I had a lazy day which was easy due to the wind and rain outside. Didn't go to bed in the afternoon before my night shift instead I lay on the sofa and watched the Sewing Bee and then the final two episodes of Normal People. I'm sad to have finished it as I was enjoying it so much even though it was very emotional at times. The acting was brilliant and the whole thing was as good as the book which is unusual.
