Harting Down

Sunlight still illuminates the spring blossom while a dramatic grey cloud looms ahead, as we head down Whitcombe Bottom on the National Trust's Harting Down property.

We were naturally a bit concerned, as we had just driven through a massive cloudburst on our way to the property. Fortunately though, this cloud simply drifted off in another direction, leaving us to enjoy our walk with the only moisture being underfoot.
