My family

Neets january challenge is to take a picture of yourself.
I am not the sort of person who has lots of family photos around (much to youngest sons annoyance) but I do have these 2 shelves with my current family on the top one and my 'ancestors' on the lower one.
I particularly like the ones of my parents ( man in brass oval frame and woman in small brass oval frame).These were taken a good 25 years before I was born so I dont actually 'recognise ' them but they seem to belong to such a different era. I know the 40's were an awful time in many most ways but I rather like the romantic images that these photos bring to mind.
