Everyday living

Move closer

It was wet wild and windy but a short break and we made a dash to get some fresh air. No matter the weather Loch na Keal is mesmerising. I love it it when it’s wild with storms rolling in but equally when it’s flat calm on a sunny day. One thing I have noticed is the wildlife is much more visible and seems closer to shore and coastline - possible lack of humans and vehicular traffic. Watched 3 gannets fishing close to shore - shelduck family, greylag family, common sandpipers, wheatears and a beautiful snipe walked across in front of us - a real treat
