My Happy Place

We took a picnic over to Exmoor today and it was truly heaven - Porlock Weir was really quiet with toilets open . We picnicked there although at that point it was windy and wet so we stayed in the car .
Then we drove over the Moor to Lynmouth and walked over the restored bridge on the River Lyn .The smell of the earth and water was refreshing.
We drove back through Simonsbath to spot the red deer in their usual place . 
Watching a State of Happiness set in Norway but have the final programme to watch .
A good day to escape all the gloom !
