Invasive species

Although this is a welcome visitor to our garden path, I have no idea where it came from.

Saying that, I could have been gifted it and just forgotten about it! Sad realisation.

The Ards Man has been cutting up most of the fallen timber in our garden, downed as a result of the recent winds. A new pile of fuel for our wood-burning stove, so not quite an ill wind after all.
