Shoebury

I was up early and had planned to photograph some wild flowers today (yes, really!) as a guy from CC mentioned them yesterday, but I couldn't find them (I admit didn't search too hard). It was close to where I took my photo of my bike a couple of days so I went for a longer walk as I don't go there that often. There used to be a garrison there (now turned into expensive, gated, very private housing) and a lot of the land is still owned and used by the M.O.D. Today's photo is from inside, what I think is, a searchlight emplacement thingy from WWII.
