TXL In Tears

The day was sunny when I woke but on receiving the news re TXL, (Tegel Airport ) tears fell and then the rain . I took the airport bus mustering as much magic as possible . In a nut shell all world airports are experiencing problems due to this atrocious virus .  However Berlin Brandenburg has enough to contend with. For example  the Mayor who ignored the wish of the public that TXL remain open. .Took some images The main in a closed terminal  Says a lot ..The extra shows the control tower through the bus window through  rain and tears ...Back next week to make clips for a video .Spoke to several staff ..Covid 19 or not,  TXL should remain open since the doomed  BER still is not ready ! read below 
Germany gone mad.
Construction began in 2006 and it was originally scheduled to open in 2011, but the project has been delayed six times. In 2018, the airport's operating company said BER would open in October 2020, and that it would invest a further €770 million, pushing the total cost to over €7 billion ($7.8 billion).
