Willow Woman

An up and down day.
Had tentatively agreed to meet Rebecca for a walk , she left the time open for me to decide if and when .
I sent her a message midday to say l wouldn’t be going.
Then later my mood lifted and l FaceTimed her to ask if it was too late and of course she said it was fine.
Drove over to Skipton and parked outside her house then we walked from her house through Skipton Castle Woods.
It really felt magical in the filtered sunlight.
I took a photograph of the Medieval Huntress, one of the willow sculptures there by North Yorkshire artist Anna Cross.
Good to talk,  we are all finding the weekends difficult, especially Saturday nights but that will pass in time no doubt.
Felt very lifted by seeing her, didn’t even go in their garden today so didn’t see the girls.
Drove home admiring the countryside, made myself a very nice dinner and am now listening to some music and catching up with you .

Added an extra of this new private garden at the exit of the woods, isn’t it lovely? Hope to Blip it again when it has matured some.
