Singing, singing , buttercups and daisies

The buttercups are still superb in the meadows behind our house. The cows are not out to graze yet. That's strange. But there have never been so many people out walking with dogs....

I've had a busy day, most of it cooking or uploading jigsaws for sale on eBay, but am now lying in bed feeling decidedly nauseous. I think it's not unrelated to to political events in our country. The PM has decided, in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, that it IS safe for early years, year one and year six primary pupils to go back to school in a week's time. And Dominic Cummings is allowed to what other parents or unwell people aren't allowed to do, because he's Dominic Cummings and he can't be sacked. So much for him being a man of the people, in touch with the common man or woman who is never asked for an opinion....
Lets hope he gets plenty of them now.
