Blackbird singing

Noticed this blackbird at the top of the tree and whistled to it. He sang back and loitered so I took a photo! One of my favourite birds. Sitting in the garden at Sians this afternoon we were serenaded by a group of Oyster catchers moving to the mud bank. Another of my favourite birds along with lapwings, such a distinctive sound from all of them!
