Moonwort

An odd-looking ancient fern.  We first discovered a site with moonwort about 40 years ago.  Returning recently we found that there had been great encroachment by blackthorn scrub, necessitating crawling beneath the spikey bushes in our search.  However several plants were eventually rediscovered.
