The Local

Today’s mono challenge is Favourite Place and while I’d like to nominate a park, beach, coastal walk, home or even my workplace (much as I like it), it’s having a quiet drink and lively conversation in a bar with K. The bar doesn’t have to be the local pub. It can be in a bleak downtown area with a gravel-voiced barman, on top of a skyscraper with fancy service and panoramic views, or somewhere in between. Next Monday, when pubs can have 50 patrons all maintaining 4 square metres per person, it will be the local.
