Surrender your promises

God promises us so many good things through scripture that it blows my mind. But God can and does also personally promise us things which is a blessing but can also bring much pain. If we cling onto those promises and try to control them it will not take us long to realize that we, in fact, are not in control and that ultimately we need to surrender them to God. We need to know that they will happen on His time and not give up that promise, like Easo, for a temporary "fulfillment" on that promise. Lets surrender control and have hope in The Lord.
