Ladybirds
On our walk this morning I spotted (no pun intended) loads of ladybirds on the cow parsley along one of the lanes. Several different sorts, including these two - a seven spot (native) and a four spot harlequin. The photos I took of the others were a bit blurred, but they too were harlequin variations.
We (well Finlay did) also found a rabbit in the grass right next to the path. The poor thing had completely closed, puffy and weeping eyes along with raspy/croaky breathing. A myxomatosis victim sadly with not long left in this world.
The Cummings saga rolls on. You can’t hep but wonder what dirt he has on BJ that makes BJ stand up and publicly defend him like that. Presumably DC knows where all the bodies are buried and BJ could get banged up …. hmmm
