Messing about on the river

The sunshine tempted people out to enjoy the spring bank holiday. On our way through Knaresborough (by bicycle of course!) I snapped this familar view. The rowing boats have recently been out of action due to the lockdown, and I was surprised to see so many out on the river this afternoon. The cafes and tea-shops are still closed, although there was a considerable queue at the ice-cream kiosk.
