Market Day

I thought with the number of businesses closed market day would be everyday. Turns out, however, Sundays are still the day most locals shop the market. The streets were jammed today, whereas earlier in the week they were mostly empty. About half the shoppers were wearing masks as is evident in this photo. Made it challenging for me to get what I needed while avoiding those who weren't abiding by good standards. I think I will stick to weekday shopping in the future.
