Poised for action

Not the sort of action I prefer but some action has taken place with the vacuum cleaner.

It's about time as the cat is on a mission to pull all his fur out, and with most of his fur on the floor plus debris from pack contents and the usual inside/outside detritus, it's been an untidy tip. I've made a start and downstairs look sort of reasonable again.

I'm definitely home based this weekend. I have a scratchy throat and minor cough. Just enough so I'd feel miserable with my big pack and a lot of up hill.

An early night for hpx. Oddly for me I've been late to bed all week, yet in my sleeping bag and asleep well before dusk each night of last week's trip. With a good long sleep I'm sure I'll be bright eyed and bushy tailed tomorrow. I know that vacuum cleaner is waiting for me.
