Answers on a Postcard

I debated whether to blip the sad demised animal, but opted for bravery over caution. I apologise if anyone finds it uncomfortable. There is a reason.
Mrs SoL called me to remove a dead rat from near our outbuilding. Armed with gloves and a plastic bag, I was on the point of putting it into the bag when I thought « thats an odd looking rat! ». Well it is (was). After a bit of research I discovered that it wasn’t exactly what I expected. I know what it is now, but anyone wanting to throw in a guess will be welcome. I will provide the answer tomorrow (or confirm if someone makes a correct identification).
