Sweet pea takeover bid

Down in the corner where I’ve set up some canes ready for my climbing French beans, the perennial sweet peas seem to have decided the canes are for them. To be fair in normal times they do usually get to roam this corner freely, but these are not normal times. Over on the other side, the runner beans keep ignoring social distancing rules and invading one another’s canes. And I know once they get to the top of the wigwam the rules go out the window anyway.... the challenges of keeping garden plants on the straight and narrow. I expect they’ve heard what Cummings got up to.
