Victorian Day

Today Sophie is off to school as a Victorian maid.
They will be eating Victorian food like gruel and Victoria sponge cake and doing Victorian activities like drill and hand-writing.
Currently there is a jacket potato in the oven - the sort of thing Victorian children took to school for a snack.
The costume is borrowed from a friend who does re-enactments.
