Blobby hedge.

The box hedge at the front of my garden was damaged a few years ago by a tree falling on it. Before that it was very formal and straight and since that I've virtually left it completely alone to grow but today I had an idea.

I've started splitting the height leaving the outside tall for privacy bit reducing the inside so that I can create some lumps and bumps growing up from the lower height.

It is very difficult to photograph because the lumps on top of the exposed stems blend into the higher part of the hedge but they look interesting in the flesh.

Other than that I've potted on some seedlings, tidied up the beds and generally had a peaceful day in my sunny garden. I hope others have too.
