Wood Louse Spider

I must say this spider, that Kathy pointed out as we were planting seeds, is a new one for me.
As a recovering arachnophobe, this fellow pushed all my "creepy" buttons as much as it fascinated me.
Looking closely, I was simply astonished by the size of its fangs!
So, as its name implies, one of it's main prey insects is the Wood Louse, commonly called a sow bug or pill bug, but in truth this fellow is equipped to eat just about anything it encounters.
So, I'd like to introduce you to the Super Unsung-Hero and powerful protector of our garden plot.
I sincerely hope he does not appear in my dreams tonight!
