Peony

It was a pleasant afternoon and I spent some time in the garden pruning another one of my Japanese Maples. My peonies are blooming......some of the blooms are fading, but these were still doing well. I picked them and brought them in the house.

I couldn't find anything in the garden that worked for MM; I couldn't bring myself to take the color out of flowers.

If you are miss the hummingbirds, see the extra. I was taking a photo of the iris and was surprised that a hummingbird was finding nectar in them....I have never seen them there before.
