Tired Maximus

Busy weekend for Maximus.  Lots of yard work and lots of running.  It is also a little muggy here so the fur coat does not help.  He is happy tired though and so are we all.  Made chocolate pudding for tonight with whipped cream.  Lots of cooking and cleaning and now an evening early enough to enjoy before the work week  begins again tomorrow.  We celebrated Memorial Day with some silence and gratitude for those who gave their lives.  The NYT had a story about  Veterans homes across the country and how lack of funding caused lack of staff and many deaths  due to the virus.  A very sad situation.  Our health care system is broken and  no one at the top has an interest in fixing it or our infrastructure - just busy trying to get reelected.
