The look of love!

A fine day for allotment day. I was going to do some hoeing but I forgot the hoe!
But before that, a visit to the lake to feed the ducks.
The swan has been sitting on her nest for ages and so she was again today. However, her mate was with her and I stopped to watch for a time.
I noticed something grey beside her and it was a cygnet. I guess she had hatched very recently and still had to “find her feet”
I tried to take their photograph, but as there were lots of branches in the way, I had to change to manual focus and that seems to be a bit of a lottery for me!
