It felt good to go somewhere different for a walk after being confined to a three mile radius of home for 7 weeks and not getting beyond Grasmere last week. I think today marks the start of week 9 of lockdown. 

It was a wander in the shade along the west shore of Thirlmere. We were in car number 8 in a car park that takes 10 to 14 vehicles depending on how people park. Busier than I expected but we only passed two walkers.  The other two we saw were the pair in the photo, out for a paddle on the lake reservoir.
