The Poppy has a popped!

Today the sun was up and out early and so were we. A walk along the canal (just a four mile round trip, Nicola) before breakfast and dealing with all the domestic stuff. 
I noticed that this poppy had sensibly waited until after last weekend’s storm before opening out. 
When I unlocked the garage door this morning I saw that the sun was shining directly onto the model railroad. I think real sunlight looks a whole lot better that electric.
