Elder Flower

Being Tuesday I did some WRAP work, mainly running the payroll for our single furlough member of staff.  After lunch, in the garden, it's been another very pleasant day, we went on a short walk to Shottery and back, stopping off to say hello to the horses.  On the way we passed quite a few elder trees, most with plenty of elderflower blossoms.  A good few years back I was well into home wine making; we would go out collecting elderflower blossom for the white wine, ensuring we left enough flowers so later in the year we could revisit the same trees for the berries for the red wine.  Delicious!
