Facetime

Groundhog Day 64 of COVID-19 UK lockdown.

The hardest thing about the lockdown has been not seeing the grandchildren in person, for well over two months. We Facetime regularly, and with our granddaughter Amelia everyday, usually in the evening. Amelia has never liked slides in her hair or even a pony tail, and she is in need of her second haircut as it's really grown!  Her mum managed to get a slide in Amelia's hair and on Facetime tonight we got a photograph...........she looks ever so grown up and what we'd give to get a cuddle!!!   I don't think we can resist much longer.

It does make you think that with those in charge of us breaking lockdown rules when we are finding it so hard being away from family, why are we bothering to make  the sacrifice?
