Little Boy Blue

Little Boy Blue with the cows in the meadow , we saw sheep but not in the corn as the nursery rhyme would suggest .
The Lancashire hills are in the distance with a pleasantly clouded sky , moving away from us leaving us to relax in pleasant sunshine .
This was our second socially distanced walk , we did about 6km and saw the first tadpoles of the season residing in the pool I posted a few weeks back . Their wriggling bodies held Arthur’s attention for awhile as did the gosling family we met further on . He has quacked at dogs, horses, sheep and cows today - his go to animal sound. It was especially lovely to see him racing around , on his knees as not yet walking, in the long grass of the field while Jess and I managed a coffee. As usual we chatted non stop about all our common interests which was very gratifying for us both.
Other than that we managed an early walk with Bramble followed by day 1 of Adriene’s Thirty day Home Yoga programme design for this present phase . She has such a sweet , gentle manner that just listening to her voice is nourishing . I managed to keep up but realise I am very, very stiff so it’s going to be worth sticking with the programme just to loosen up .
