Lacy Phacelia tanacetifolia

A purple tansy wildflower that is a heavy nectar producer - this seems to have self seeded from my wildflowers of last year and it is flowering very early.  Some people call it the honey plant as it is one of the top 20 flowers used in the natural production of honey.  However I am going to have to beware of the aggressive spread  by self seeding and rhizomes. and now the sick sycamore has been felled in my woodland area I shall plant it there as the sun can now reach the earth and that is what this plant likes.
