Who's that girl?

Brought 2 things this week as part of my prepartion for the 5km sponsored swim in April - a pair of speedos and a kick board. I didn't think a picture of me in speedos was appropriate for a blip, so it had to be the kickboard which I have brought so that I can practice my breaststroke kick. I did a 0.9km practice swim on Tuesday and my technique was awful. Head up, legs hanging down - about as streamlined through the water as a brick!

Now a kickboard is not a very interesting object to photograph so I got it wet and went in close. That worked to an extent but the colour and lighting was rather dull so in an attempt to bring a bit of life to it I've blended an image of a girl swimming underwater into the water droplets in the foreground. You can see her looking out at you in the bottom right of the picture.

Hopefully the weekend will provide some better photo opportunities.
