Hay fever counter measures

I’m trying using an n95 mask while grass cutting. Apparently masks are widely used in Japan where many suffer from a cedar pollen allergy. Luckily the weather is beautiful but being cooled by a north easterly airstream coming round the back of the high pressure over the UK. Pollen counts are high here and the first crop of hay is being cut.

The sweat band is a textile designed by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama for show called ‘The place for my soul’. A gift from Yashiko many years ago.

The hat is an Italian made straw hat (size 61) that actually fits my big head (from Arezzo market last year).

Glasses from Chetty and Das of Stockbridge last year. V pricey but I love the lightness of the Lindbergh frames which also have none of those tiny screws that come undone.
