Artificial Lake
Perhaps the title is not correct. This is actually a natural lake, but it should not be there. This is Hazlehead Park in the west of Aberdeen. The water is not so much a lake as a very large puddle created by the rain and melted snow.
It seems to have rained most of the morning which will have helped to top up any moisture lost by evaporation. The park was pretty damp and the playground deserted, and the park itself almost deserted. A small kiosk was open selling snacks, but did not seem to be doing any business.
Plenty of reflections in the water, including a hint of blue sky. Perhaps the weather is going to improve? There were a few traces of snow in the park still where the sun had not had a chance to melt it.
