Thrasher

I had to use my bird ID book to distinguish between this Brown Thrasher and a Thrush.  They have been busy around the feeders in my yard, especially the blocks of food in the wire cage.  They also seem to like knocking food from the block and eating from the ground.  I've noticed them digging into the dirt beneath the feeders.  Anyway, I've enjoyed them with the other birds who seem to now come daily.  Perhaps not today because we are having heavy rains from the second named storm - Bertha, a tropical storm that came into South Carolina overnight south of us.
