of the Mahonia bush which is an unusual colour, the birds don’t touch it but that maybe due to the prickly leaves.

Started the day early(ish) by hosing the garden. Due to the layout of our garden, slopes and many many steps, I do not enjoy this task. Dragging a long heavy hose around is not my idea of fun,so easy to have an accident. It only gets done in extreme conditions and with many new plants.
