Off on holiday this week. Treated myself to an online course at Bridge House Art called painting the poetic. It involves making triptychs. Just finished my first which is an homage to one of my ancestors, Duncan Bell, a very popular steamship captain who lived in Rothesay.The Winter Gardens were my other inspiration.The front featured details from the Winter Gardens and the interior featured details from Duncan Bell's life, including his prosecution for steamship racing on the Clyde. Good fun.
