How to get a chair through a doorway

A difficult task. We have two chairs like this in the study. They are quite old and we arranged for the council to collect them tomorrow. They were out on the pavement for about 30 minutes before someone pulled up and put them in the back of a Fiat Punto and drove off. Hope they will be very useful.

AND we accepted an offer on Dad's house today. AND I gave packed more boxes...
