Funny kind of day

Hubby not been good today, ongoing problem that flairs up every now and then, and in lots of pain in arm and neck so not able to do very much. I have spent the day trying to do things that he would normally do without fussing, as he hates me fussing. Hetty seemed to pick up on it and has also been quiet all day, other than when he went to lie down and then she played with me.
Made hearthbread and a chocolate and almond cake. Took down the netting over the fruit bush and built a frame and re netted. Had a lovely walk with Hetty early morning and again after dinner, much cooler.
