Casing the joint (One Street)

It's been sunny and bright today so the jackdaws have been thinking about Spring. They love to nest in the chimney pots in our village, which is why nearly every pot has a cowl on it. These 2 think their luck is in! You can just imagine the conversation between them.

This is my second entry to the One Street project. These chimneys are on the roof between two houses, almost opposite to the village shop.

I've had a lovely quiet day today, mainly editing Venice photos. I've also had a phone pre-anaesthetic assessment for next week's arthroscopy. That was much better than travelling to Newcastle to tick all the boxes.
