Emergence

After submitting our proposal at the weekend, I emerged from the work shadows to catch up on other things.

Some new clothes supplies I had ordered arrived and I have to say I am pleased with the ‘summer jacket’ that I donned for my evening walk. Well suited to the season and only £14.99. Meanwhile I’m hoping that all my clothing in Maputo isn’t gathering mould whilst it sits untouched in drawers and cupboards.

I am less pleased with the constant smell of wet cat food that invades our nostrils as we try and work. We have decided that Sheba is the most pungent brand. It’s either that or one of the cats has dribbled or sicked up somewhere we can’t locate. We may have to undertake more (unpleasant) detective work tomorrow.
