Thick

Tuesday was a relaxing (some might say lazy) day. A bit of faffing around on the computer, a bit of reading, a few bits and bobs around the house (deck chairs on the Titanic kind of stuff) and generally trying to avoid watching and listening to the news in case my blood pressure and anger levels rose any higher. Thick as thieves, that lot.

Went for a walk later in the afternoon, along the Canal to Banknock, where this particular spot was a gathering place for several thousand midges, or whatever they are. Glad they kept themselves mostly down near water level and (mostly) away from the towpath.

Speaking of Banknock, I always thought that the Lazy Boys of Banknock was the best band name ever!
