Bent-over Poppy!

17°C  -  Feels like 15°  -  12 mph SSW Wind Speed  -  14 mph Gusts  -  Sunny.  Too hot for serious gardening  -  more a day for sitting in the shade reading and drinking coconut water!  Noticed another red Poppy growing among a clump of couch grass  -  I cleared the grass from around it to see if I could get a shot that showed how heavy the bloom is. I get a few blooms every year, but always bent over with the burden of their bloom  -  poor things!  Always attractive and vivid though, especially when the sun is shining on them like today.
