Salt marsh moth or acrea moth

Found this moth sitting on a windowsill this morning. According to Wikipedia it is found in North America, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Colombia and Mexico. So what is it doing on a windowsill in Flanders?
Update. A scientist of the Royal Africa Museum in Tervuren let me know that these moths are sometimes imported in fruit and veg.
